Although Independence Day will not be the same this year, we want everyone to have a safe and joyous Fourth of July Weekend. The United States is doing what it can to celebrate the holiday by recognizing those who served this great country of ours. Any person wishing to send a thank you or love for an active duty military member or to a veteran is encouraged to leave a comment on this blog.
The Fourth of July has been a public holiday in the US since 1941. From 1776 to present, July 4th has been celebrated as the beginning of American independence. People pay tribute to such a day with a number of festivities that further bond families and friends. Fireworks and parades are always a hit and something to look forward to. Family gatherings and barbecues are also part of this centuries-old tradition. Here at Arrie Publishing Company, we want everyone to remember there still is a pandemic among us. Please be safe by wearing a facial mask and practicing social distancing.
