We hope everyone enjoyed Easter Sunday despite the Coronavirus Pandemic. This year, as Christians, we celebrated an Easter like no other. Many churches streamed online their Easter Services. Although we didn't have the option to fill our churches, because of technology, many people were able to go online, video, email, and text loved ones.
We celebrate Easter to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In the New Testament of the Bible, Jesus' resurrection occurred three days after He was crucified by the Romans and died in roughly 30 A.D. Easter concludes the "Passion of Christ," a series of events and holidays that begins with Lent, which is a 40-day period of fasting, prayer, and sacrifice-and ends with Holy Week.
