ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Nora Yolanda is a poet and author who honors the African American culture by telling their stories through her writings. Her voice has been heard on many platforms, including at the largest free art festival, Artscape, in the world in her hometown of Baltimore, Maryland. She loves teaching, and to this day, she says that some of her fondest memories were of her time in Baltimore, where she taught teen girls how to self-actualize themselves through poetry. Her poetry book with be released in June 2020.
